Use Twitter To Get Free Computers for Local Schools

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 18, 2009 -- iFLOOR.com recently took an equipment inventory and found that there are 10 extra DELL computer work stations in the warehouse. Rather than selling the refurbished computers on eBAY, iFLOOR wanted to give back to the local communities across America.

Given that it is "Back to School" season iFLOOR's management team decided that giving away 10 DELL computer systems to the most deserving Parent Teacher Association(PTA) made the most of sense. So in that spirit, a Dell workstation complete with Windows XP, Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse will be sent free of charge to the 10 winning PTAs who meet the qualifications for the promotion as noted below.

To enter a local PTA for this Free Computer giveaway follow these guidelines:

1) Goto iFLOOR.com (http://www.ifloor.com) and click the PTA Free Computer graphic to fill out an entry form including a short essay (250 words or less) about why a local PTA could use a FREE computer. (no limit on entries for each PTA)

2) Then just tweet about the promotion with the mention of #ifloorptacomputers

The most effective way to get entries is to encourage every parent in the local PTA to tweet and retweet why your PTA should win. Entries must include #ifloorptacomputers in the tweet which will leave plenty of room to talk about the loca PTA name and add words of support.

The most motivated PTA'ers will use the additional characters for a link to the iFLOOR.com site so other parents can enter to win as well. There is no limit on entries for each PTA.

To maximize the chances to win Tweet and Retweet #ifloorptacomputers to as many PTA members as possible because every tweet counts as an entry for the local PTA that is entered by the twitter account that the tweet originates from. There is no limit on human generated entries. All @replies will count as entries too, so friends and fellow members of the local PTA can rally behind one essay entry to maximize the total tweets.

About PTAs

Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) are made of up of people dedicated to the education of children and are mostly volunteers. PTAs across the United States need more support too from parents and students. iFLOOR's management hopes that by raising the visibility of your local PTA online more parents will be able to think about how they can get involved to help the kids. No matter where in America a local school exists, there is most likely a local PTA that is helping out right now and they can use more support.
